Program terms

Commission rates

20% on the first sale (whether that's a monthly or annual subscription) + 10% recurring on every subsequent payment for the lifetime of the customer's subscription. Commissions are calculated on the net amount the merchant paid us (after Shopify/Stripe processing fees, where applicable).

Cookie window

60 days from the visitor's first click on your referral link. If they subscribe within that window, you get the commission. If they subscribe after 60 days, no commission unless they re-click your link in the meantime.

Payout schedule + method

PayPal, on the 15th of every month. Commissions become eligible for payout 30 days after the sale clears (this covers Shopify's and our refund window). No minimum threshold — even $5 gets sent.

What we don't allow

  • Coupon / discount aggregator sites (Slickdeals-style)
  • Bidding on DBestChatBot brand keywords in paid ads (Google, Bing, etc.)
  • Self-referrals (using your own link for your own subscription)
  • Spammy promotion (unsolicited DMs, comment spam, mass unsolicited email)
  • Cloaking the affiliate link in a way that hides the destination
  • Any tactic that misrepresents DBestChatBot or makes false claims about features
We reserve the right to void commissions and remove affiliates for any of the above.

Refunds & clawbacks

If a customer you referred refunds within their first month, that commission is reversed and won't be paid out. Commissions on months 2+ that already cleared the 30-day eligibility window are yours to keep.

Program changes

We may adjust commission rates, the cookie window, or other terms with at least 30 days notice via email to active affiliates. Existing earned and pending commissions are honored at the rate they were earned at.

Termination

Either side can leave the program at any time. We'll pay out any pending commissions on the next monthly cycle after departure. Violations of the "What we don't allow" list result in immediate removal and forfeiture of unpaid commissions.

FAQ

How long does approval take?+

Usually 2-3 business days. We respond within 7 days max — whether yes or no.

Can I promote on paid ads?+

Yes on your own creative + landing pages. No on bidding for DBestChatBot brand keywords (that competes with our own ads). If unsure, ask first.

Do I need to be a DBestChatBot customer to join?+

Not required, but it really helps. The strongest affiliate pitches come from people who've used the product. Free Starter plan (250 chats/month) is enough to test the experience.

What if my audience is mostly outside the US?+

We pay in USD via PayPal worldwide. Your local taxes are your responsibility. We don't restrict geographic origin of referrals.

Do recurring commissions apply to all our plans?+

Yes — Growth ($19/mo), Pro ($49/mo), and Agency ($99/mo). The percentage is the same regardless of which tier the merchant picks. They can upgrade or downgrade and your commission scales with whatever they're paying.

What about Shopify-billed subscribers vs Stripe?+

Both count. Shopify takes their cut before we see the revenue, so commissions on Shopify-billed merchants are calculated on the net amount we receive — same as for Stripe.

Can agencies/consultants join even without an audience?+

Absolutely. If you implement DBestChatBot for client stores, you can earn recurring on every one. Pick 'Agency / consultant' on the application form.
