The agency math (it's better than you think)
You're a marketing agency. You already manage your clients' websites, paid ads, SEO, and email. Chatbots are the obvious next add-on — they convert traffic you're already paying for into actual leads — but you've been holding off because the agency-friendly options either don't exist (Intercom wants $$$ per seat) or are clearly toy-grade (free Tidio templates clients can see through).
Here's the math on the DBestChatBot Agency plan:
- You pay: $99/mo flat for 10 client chatbots ($999/year if you go annual, that's two free months).
- You charge each client: $50-300/mo as part of their retainer or as a standalone "AI chatbot management" line item.
- Your gross margin: $401-2,901/mo across 10 clients ($4,800-$34,800/year).
- Your time investment after setup: ~15 min/client/month reviewing the AI conversation digest and tweaking the prompt if something drifts.
That's a passive revenue stream on top of your existing book. And because the bot is genuinely useful — visitors get answered at 2am, leads land in the CRM, support tickets get deflected — clients are less likely to churn from the underlying retainer too. It's the rare add-on that increases stickiness instead of feature-bloating into a complaint surface.
Everything an agency owner needs
Built specifically for the resell-and-manage workflow.
True white-label widget
All DBestChatBot branding removed from the visitor-facing widget. No "Powered by" footer link. Optional custom widget-script domain (chat.youragency.com/widget.js) on request.
Per-client dashboard access
Invite clients as read-only or admin members of their own scoped workspace. They see only their data. You see everything across all 10.
Auto-branded weekly digests
Every Monday, each client gets an email — branded as your agency, with your logo — showing conversation volume, top questions, leads captured, and AI summary. Zero work for you.
Per-client bot personality
Different system prompt, brand colors, pre-chat fields, AI model, and webhook destinations for each of the 10 sites. Genuinely 10 independent chatbots, not 10 copies.
Webhook → client CRM
Each chatbot pushes its leads to a different webhook URL. Client A's leads go to HubSpot; Client B's go to Pipedrive; Client C's go to a Google Sheet via Zapier. Full isolation.
CSV bulk export for reports
Pull all conversations + captured leads as CSV per chatbot, per date range. Drop into your monthly client report deck — proof that the line item earned its keep.
Three margin scenarios
Scenario 1 · Conservative
10 small-business clients, $50/mo each as a retainer line item
Your cost: $99/mo. Your revenue: $500/mo. Net margin: $401/mo ($4,812/year). Time invested after setup: maybe 20 min/week reviewing digests. The kind of revenue your bookkeeper rounds to zero — but it pays for one offsite/year and the cost of your project-management software, with the work-effort of a coffee break.
Scenario 2 · Typical mid-market agency
10 SMB/mid-market clients, $150/mo average (some $100, some $200)
Your cost: $99/mo. Your revenue: $1,500/mo. Net margin: $1,401/mo ($16,812/year). This pays for one full-time content writer, or covers your team's offsite trip. The work is genuinely passive — clients see leads landing in their CRM each week and stop asking "what does this line item do?"
Scenario 3 · Premium positioning
10 high-touch clients (e-comm, B2B SaaS), $300/mo each, white-label custom domain
Your cost: $99/mo + nominal custom-domain DNS setup. Your revenue: $3,000/mo. Net margin: ~$2,900/mo ($34,800/year). Justified by: per-client AI prompt-engineering (you actually tune it monthly), monthly written report with insights from the conversation data, and the fact that "we manage the AI side of your customer experience" reads like a real deliverable on the proposal.

Frequently asked questions
Can I bill clients separately or do I roll it into retainers?▾
Both work. Most agencies roll one Agency subscription cost into their existing retainers and pocket the per-client margin — simpler accounting, no extra Stripe to manage. Alternatively, invite each client to their own free workspace and bill them direct ($19-99/mo each). Best of both: roll into the retainer for small clients, white-glove the enterprise ones into their own workspace.
Is the widget truly white-label?▾
Yes — Agency plan removes all "Powered by DBestChatBot" branding from the visitor-facing widget. Footer link disappears. We also offer optional custom-domain widget hosting (chat.youragency.com/widget.js → reverse-proxied to ours, looks 100% yours) on request, no extra charge.
How do clients see what their bot is doing?▾
Three options: (1) invite them as a read-only member of their own workspace, they get the full dashboard scoped to just their data; (2) weekly digest email auto-branded as your agency, shows conversation volume + top questions + leads captured + AI summary; (3) embed a custom report URL in your existing client-portal — we can scope an API key to one workspace and you query it from your own dashboards.
What about supporting more than 10 client sites?▾
Agency plan covers 10 sites with one $99/mo invoice. Beyond that, contact us for volume pricing — we have agencies running 30+ sites on custom arrangements. Two ways to scale: stay on a single Agency plan and bring extras under-managed-services-with-you-as-billing-party, or split into multiple Agency subscriptions if you want clean separation per client portfolio.
Can I configure the bot differently per client?▾
Completely. Each chatbot has its own system prompt, brand colors, welcome message, pre-chat form fields, knowledge base, AI model choice, integrations (Telegram for client A, Slack for client B), and webhook destinations. The Agency plan is genuinely 10 independent chatbots, not 10 copies of the same one.
What happens to my client's data if I cancel?▾
You get a 30-day grace period to export everything — conversations as CSV, captured leads as CSV, chatbot configs as JSON for portability. After 30 days the data is hard-deleted per our retention policy. We never sell or share client data; see our privacy policy for the full Limited Use commitment.
Do you offer a referral or affiliate program?▾
Yes — 20% lifetime commission on every customer you refer. Most agency owners refer the chatbot to non-managed clients (the ones they don't want to babysit) and treat it as a passive revenue stream alongside their main agency work. <Link to affiliate program from sidebar>.
Add $4,800-$34,800/year to your agency retainers.
10 clients × $50-300/mo markup. The chatbot pays for itself by client #1.
