User Data Deletion
How to request that we delete the personal data we hold about you. Two paths — self-serve (immediate) or assisted (we respond within 30 days).
If you have a DBestChatBot account
Self-serve, takes about 30 seconds, takes effect immediately.
- Sign in at dbestchatbot.com/login
- Go to Settings in the sidebar
- Open the Danger zone tab
- Type your workspace name to confirm
- Click Permanently delete workspace
This permanently removes:
- Your user account (name, email, hashed password, Google OAuth link)
- Your workspace and all chatbots
- All conversation transcripts and captured leads
- All WhatsApp and Telegram integration tokens (encrypted, then deleted)
- All webhook configurations and delivery logs
- All credit transaction history
- All uploaded files (chatbot avatars, etc.)
Billing records are retained for 7 years per tax/accounting law (in pseudonymized form — no chat content). Active Stripe subscriptions are auto-cancelled.
If you don't have a DBestChatBot account
e.g. you spoke to a chatbot on someone else's website, or messaged a business's WhatsApp / Telegram bot powered by us.
Email us at privacy@dbestchatbot.com with:
- The website, WhatsApp number, or Telegram bot username where you interacted
- The email address, phone number, or name you provided (so we can find your records)
- Approximate date of the conversation
- Confirm in writing you're requesting deletion under GDPR Article 17 / CCPA Section 1798.105 / Meta Platform Terms
We'll respond within 30 days with confirmation once your data has been deleted (or sooner — usually within 72 hours).
Note: we may ask for additional verification (e.g. a reply from the email address you originally provided) to make sure we're deleting the right person's data and not someone impersonating you.
If you're here from Facebook or WhatsApp
If you connected your Meta Business Account to DBestChatBot to integrate WhatsApp, you can revoke our access at any time:
- Go to Facebook → Business Integrations
- Find DBestChatBot in the list
- Click Remove
Revoking access automatically tells us to stop receiving messages on your behalf. Within 30 days we'll also delete all stored WhatsApp message content and your encrypted access token from our database. Confirmation will be emailed to the address associated with your Meta account.
